Foreign Ministry: Syrian army allowed protestors to reach border
Israeli embassies world wide received a memorandum from the Foreign Ministry including points to emphasize in interviews with the foreign media and senior officials on the violent events on the northern border.
The memorandum stated that the Syrian army controls the border crossings with Israel and so it isn't possible that the protestors infiltrated the village of Majdal Shams without the approval and knowledge of the Syrian army. (Ronen Medzini)
