Syrian infiltrator arrested in Golan Heights
The police arrested a Syrian infiltrator exiting the Druze village Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights. He was stopped while riding a taxi driven by an east Jerusalem resident. The infiltrator, a 30-year-old man who did not have any identification on his person, was taken in for questioning, along with the taxi driver.
The police said that thorough inspections of vehicles leaving the village will continue on Monday. Meanwhile, the police will continue to collaborate with the Druze authorities to search the village for additional infiltrators. (Hagay Einav)
