250 kg of cocaine seized at Ashdod Port

The Israel Police's International Crime Investigation Unit has seized 250 kg of cocaine that were hidden in a container holding sacks of coffee in the Ashdod Port. The drugs, which are estimated to be worth NIS 100 million, arrived last month on a ship from Colombia.

The two men suspected of importing the container will be brought before the Magistrate's Court in Rishon Letzion for the extension of their remand. (Shmulik Hadad)
