Mofaz: Netanyahu is in political distress, cannot lead Israel

Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Chairman Shaul Mofaz (Kadima) slammed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his response to the recent developments in the Middle East and in Israel.

"Tectonic changes are taking place here, and that is just the preview of September's events, which will come in waves against IDF troops and the citizens of Israel," Mofaz said. "There is the obligation take initiative, but Netanyahu's government does not do that. He has found himself in personal political distress, which is why he cannot lead the State of Israel."
