Israel's UN Ambassador Meron Reuben was interrupted during a speech at the United Nations Security Council by the Iranian ambassador.
"Everything Israel says is a lie meant to divert attention from what is being done to the Palestinians," he said during the hearing. The Syrian ambassador also attacked Israel, saying it was "subjecting the Palestinians to a holocaust." (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
