Report: Uzi Arad leaked info, resigned to avoid indictment

Former head of the National Security Council Uzi Arad resigned his post this past February in exchange for not being prosecuted for leaking information from the Prime Minister's Office, Channel 10 reported.

According to the report, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and senior Shin Bet officials informed Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein that Arad leaked the information, which prompted Weinstein to give Arad two choices - to resign or be indicted. (Aviad Glickman)
