PM announces establishment of national bureau for cyber protection

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Wednesday the establishment of a national bureau which will focus on expanding Israel's information protection capabilities and supervising the development of the cyber sector in Israel.
At a Jerusalem press conference Netanyahu said that Israel is preparing for the imminent threat from "cyber attacks that could paralyze the systems that operate the country." He noted that hundreds of millions of shekels would be invested in the sector in the next few years. (Omri Ephraim)
