Photographer Killed in Libya

Anton Hammerl, a 41-year-old South African freelance photographer who has been missing in Libya for more than a month, is dead, the family said.
According to the family, Hammerl, who was known for covering the violence in South African townships before the 1994 election, was shot in an extremely remote location. (News agencies)
