Abbas, Lavrov discuss Obama's speech

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas spoke on the phone with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov about US President Barack Obama's speech last week, in which the American leader clarified that a peace agreement must be based on the 1967 lines.
Earlier, Abbas left for Jordan to discuss the ramifications of the speech with King Abdullah. He is later expected to visit Egypt too. (Elior Levy)
