Ofer Brothers Group says never sold ships to Iran

The Ofer Brothers Group responded to the US State Department announced sanctions, saying "We have never sold ships to Iran.

"The official and authorized elements in the State of Israel will confirm our claims in their entirety," a statement released by the company's press office read. The US State Department sanctioned the Israeli company and six other international firms for their roles in a September 2010 transaction that provided a tanker valued at $8.65 million to the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines.
