Police: Bomb caused Istanbul blast

Explosives placed on an electric bicycle caused a blast in Istanbul on Wednesday that wounded seven people, Istanbul police chief Huseyin Capkin told reporters.
He said none of the wounded were in a critical condition and noted that the explosion occurred near a police school. Police have frequently been targeted by militants in Turkey. (Reuters)
