Yemen says 28 killed in blast at weapons storage

None

Yemen's Defense Ministry says 28 have been killed in an explosion at a weapons' storage facility in western Sanaa.

Thursday's blast occurred in an area close to a neighborhood where government troops have clashed with tribesmen for four straight days. The opposition, however, disputes the government's account and says the latest deaths were caused by heavy shelling of a residential area in the capital by troops loyal to Yemen's embattled President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
