Gov't approves establishment of health unit to fight smoking
The government approved a plan to establish a unit within the Health Ministry to help reduce smoking in Israel. One of the goals will be to cut down the number of smokers by 8% within eight years.
The estimated NIS 10 million (some $2.8 million) plan will include banning of smoking in public places, including in bus and train stops. (Attila Somfalvi)
