Yemen: 3 demonstrators killed by police in Taiz

Three protesters were killed and dozens wounded Sunday by police gunfire during a rally against President Ali Abdullah Saleh's regime in the city of Taiz, south of Sanaa, medical sources said.

"Three protesters were killed by police fire and scores of others were injured, some critically," one of the sources said. (AFP)
