Report: Syrian troops bomb central town
Syrian activists say troops have bombarded a town in the central province of Homs with artillery, causing several causalities a day after nine people were killed in a continuing crackdown in the region.
The Local Coordination Committees in Syria, which helps organize and document the protests, said the town of Tabliseh was bombed early Monday. It said snipers were deployed on roofs of mosques. (AP)
