Arab youth gets jail term for assaulting police officers
The Jerusalem District Court has sentenced Mohammed Ouda, a 23-yar old Arab resident of east Jerusalem, to a year and a half in prison for assaulting police officers guarding the opening of a synagogue in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City.
Ouda waited for a police cruiser to pass and then pelted it with stones and firebombs, the indictment against him says. (Aviad Glickman)
