Mofaz says Israel must refuse 'imposed' peace

The chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, Shaul Mofaz, says he objects to "any solution that is imposed upon Israel. It is a matter of sovereignty and principle. Any attempt to force an agreement will achieve the exact opposite."
Speaking at a hearing at which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was also present he added, however, that "the interest in proceeding with negotiations is an Israeli interest first and foremost". (Attila Somfalvi)
