Mladic on plane on way to UN tribunal
War crimes suspect Ratko Mladic is on his way to The Hague, the Serbian justice minister said, just hours after judges rejected his appeal Tuesday to stop his extradition to a U.N. tribunal.
Snezana Malovic says the process of extraditing Mladic to the UN war crimes tribunal "has started." Mladic's defense had sought to stop the hand-over, arguing the 69-year-old is not mentally and physically fit to stand trial. (AP)
