Police operation uncovers tons of stolen metal objects including jet engines

A wide-range operation conducted jointly by the police's Financial Crimes Unit, Israel Tax Authority and other bodies uncovered on Tuesday numerous tons of metal objects, which according to suspicion were stolen from infrastructures belonging to Israel Electric Corp., Bezeq and military bases among others bodies.

Among the stolen objects were plane engines and fighter jet missiles. The owners of the sites where the stolen equipment was discovered were called in for questioning. (Eli Senyor)
