Haniyeh urges Palestinians to respect Egypt's sovereignty at Rafah crossing

Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh called on the Palestinians who use the Rafah border crossing in and out of Gaza to "support and respect Egypt's sovereignty and security." He also urge them to avoid doing anything that might jeopardize the reopening of the crossing, emphasizing that he will not allow "any harm to Egyptian security."
"I stress before our brothers in Egypt that your safety is our safety, and your stability is our stability, for the sake of lifting the blockade, liberating the land and reinstating the rights," he said.
