Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, testifying in his own defense at his corruption trial, claimed that "someone founded a newspaper to overturn the government".
"It is legitimate," he said. "It is permitted to establish a paper in order to overturn the government and appoint a new one. It's part of the political debate. There is someone who is willing to invest hundreds of millions of dollars." He gave no further details. (Aviad Glickman)
