IDF takes over Aravah sector

The IDF has officially taken over the Aravah-Jordan border sector from the Border Guard. Border Guard elements criticized the move.
Chief superintendent Moshe Pinchi told Ynet, "Unfortunately, despite our countless alerts that the move will harm national security, it has been implemented. We will see more drugs and crime inside Israel." (Omri Efraim)
