16 people injured in 6-car crash on Highway 42

Sixteen people were injured in a car accident on Highway 42 near Ben Zakai junction. Six vehicles were involved in the crash.

Magen David Adom crews evacuated the injured individuals, one of whom suffered moderate injuries while the rest suffered light injuries, to Kaplan Hospital in Rehovot and Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon. The police opened an investigation into the incident. (Ilana Curiel)
