Ahmadinejad: No tranquility in Mideast as long as Israel exists
Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Friday repeated his assertion that there will be no tranquillity in the Middle East as long as Tehran's archfoe, Israel, continues to exist.
"As long as the Zionist regime exists, if only on a small piece of land in Palestine, the region will not see tranquillity" he said to a crowd gathered at the mausoleum of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini on the eve of the 22nd anniversary of the revolutionary leader's death. (AFP)
