Tunisia death toll now 7 in tribal clashes

Tunisia's official TAP news agency says the death toll from violent clashes in the southwest of the country has been raised from five to seven.
Another 90 people have been injured in the violence in Metlaoui, which has raged since Friday and pitted members of different tribal clans against one another. A rumor that the depressed mining region's main employer had changed its recruitment policy to favor one tribe reportedly sparked the violence. (AP)
