Representatives of the Sheikh Jarrah solidarity movement met with Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein to discuss their claims against Israel Police on Monday. The meeting was also attended by State Prosecutor Moshe Lador.

Several activists recently sent Weinstein and the police a letter containing harsh claim against the conduct of the Jerusalem Police. They claim that officers do not allow them to protest in the east Jerusalem neighborhood and mistreat them.

The attorney general said after the meeting that he will discuss the claims with Police Commissioner Yohanan Danino and Jerusalem District Police Commander Niso Shaham.
The Justice Ministry Spokesman attorney Moshe Cohen confirmed that the meeting had taken place.
