US to support Franco-British UN resolution condemning Syria

The United States is expected to support the Franco-British UN resolution condemning the repression in Syria, a State Department spokesman announced Wednesday.
"We support the search for a resolution of the Security Council of the UN about the ongoing crisis in Syria and we are trying to persuade other Council members to do so," said Mark Toner. (AFP)
