Erekat: Not renouncing settlement freeze

Saeb Erekat, chief Palestinian negotiator, denied the Washington Post report claiming the Palestinians plan to renounce the settlement construction freeze as a precondition to renewing talks with Israel.

Erekat told Ynet that "Abu Mazen will only be willing to negotiate with Israel of Netanyahu would be begin talks based on 1967 lines, publically declare it and be willing to freeze settlement construction." (Elior Levy, Ynet's Palestinian Affairs correspondent)
