UNRWA chief 'deeply distressed' over Syrian refugee situation

The Commissioner-General of UNRWA, Filippo Grandi, is "deeply distressed that Palestine refugees in Syria have lost their lives and been injured in recent events".

In a statement released Thursday Grandi mentioned the 14 Palestinians killed earlier this week in clashes that broke out at the Yarmouk refugee camp near Damascus. (Ynet)
