Diskin: Iran, Syria 'cyber armies' can cause strategic damage
Former Shin Bet chief Yuval Diskin said that the establishment of "cyber armies" around the globe, including Syria and Iran might cause "strategic damage" to other countries.
"Iran announced that it will invest in the defense of virtual assets and Syria has set up a cyber army due to the revolution," said Diskin in a seminar at Tel Aviv University. "This is not a threat that's around the corner, it is an existing reality," he added. (Boaz Fyler)
