Rose Pizem's killers sentenced to life in prison

The Petah Tikva District Court has sentenced Ronny Ron to life in prison for the murder of his granddaughter Rose Pizem. The girl's mother, who was convicted of soliciting for murder in the case, also received a life sentence.

Ron, who threw the body of the 4-year-old Pizem into the Yarkon River in May 2008, claimed that he did not mean to kill her. (Naama Cohen-Friedman and Yoav Zitun)
