Lebanon announces formation of new government

Lebanon announced on Monday a new government led by Prime Minister Najib Mikati nearly five months after he was named to form a cabinet.

A government official announced the cabinet line-up at Baabda Palace after talks between President Michel Suleiman, Mikati and Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri. (Reuters)
