Iranian Vice President Mohammad-Reza Rahimi congratulated Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati on forming a new government, the IRNA news agency reported.
"The Islamic Republic reiterates its support for Lebanon and is willing to implement the agreements signed between the two countries," Rahimi told Mikati over the phone. (AFP)
