Gov't worker suspected of taking bribes to issue visas to refugees

An Interior Ministry employee was arrested on suspicion of accepting bribes in exchange for issuing Israeli visas to refugees. A number of additional suspects were arrested as well for cooperating with the scheme. The police is to motion the Rishon Letzion Magistrate's Court to extend the first suspect's remand.
