PM: Palestinian appeal to UN will prevent negotiations

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday, in closed talks, that a Palestinian appeal to the UN General Assembly to recognize a Palestinian state would prevent the resumption of negotiations with Israel and would increase the rift between the sides.
Netanyahu noted that so long as the Fatah was negotiating with Hamas over the establishment of a unity government, negotiations with Israel would not be able to move forward. (Attila Somfalvi)
