NY congressman to examine violent Islam in prison

A Republican congressman is chairing the second in a series of hearings on the radicalization of Muslims in the US - this time a look at Muslims who become militants in prison.

The first hearing held in March broadly addressed Islamic radicalization in the US and what the Muslim community is doing to combat it. The hearing drew criticism from Democrats and religious leaders who felt New York Rep. Peter King was unfairly singling out one religion. (AP)
