Syria reopens border with Jordan

Jordan says Syria has reopened a border crossing after a two-month closure prompted by military operations in Deraa, the southern Syrian town that has been a focus of anti-government protests.

A second Jordanian-Syrian border post remained open because it is far from Deraa and other Syrian towns where clashes have been taking place. (AP)
