Medvedev asks Ahmadinejad for cooperation on nuclear program

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has asked his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for more transparency and more constructive cooperation on its nuclear program, according to the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov on Wednesday in Astana.
Medvedev had this interview on the sidelines of the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in the Kazakh capital. (AFP)
