According to available details, the footballer denied the allegations against him, saying the relations he had with the complainant were consensual.
  • The event took place several weeks ago. The woman alleges that the soccer player used what was described as her "unconscious state" to have sex with her without her consent. She also claimed she was sodomized.
Ynet has learned that the police are inclined to accept the footballer's version of the events. The man has yet to be arraigned, but was questioned under caution for seven hours.
He was released on his own recognizance and placed under house arrest for five days.
