Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan withdrew lawsuits he filed against "insubordinate journalists" who criticized him prior to the recent elections, in which he claimed victory and a third term for his party, the deputy chairman of the AKP, Hüseyin Çelik, told the Turkish Hurriyet.
Erdogan had filed claims against caricaturists who criticized him in cartoons carried by various papers, prompting public outrage. (Ynet)
