Restaurant owner: I informed firefighters of gas leak before blast

A restaurant owner at the site of the lethal explosion in Netanya said he called the fire department shortly before the blast to complain of a gas leak. The man, Guy Golan, said he was told firefighters are on the way but they never arrived.
The Netanya Fire Brigades said no call was received regarding a gas leak before the explosion. (Hagai Einav and Raanan Ben-Zur)
