Member of Knesset Amram Mitzna, a candidate for the Labor party's chairmanship revealed on Saturday that a quarter of the voter registration forms that were received by the party were ineligible.
"If politics is corrupt, with skewed censuses and fraudulence – then I'm not staying," said Mitzna. The Labor chairman hopeful added that they are currently examining whether the forms are qualifiable.

According to the Labor party, more than 23,000 registered voters joined it in recent weeks.
Speaking at a cultural event in Beersheba, Mitzna also addressed retired Mossad head Meir Dagan's controversial comments, saying "we need to listen to what he says. He comes from the heart of the security establishment and took part in the most critical discussions."
Mitzna slammed the current cabinet, saying "the Netanyahu-Lieberman-Barak government is jeopardizing the existence of the State of Israel as a Jewish democracy.
"The government's policies lead no where. They are a response to reality, not initiatives, and I ask – who is the responsible adult that safeguards us from things to come?," he said.
