Official: Turkey is pressuring Syria to implement reforms

A senior Turkish official said that the authorities in Ankara are pressuring Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to implement the reforms he has promised his people, the Turkish newspaper Zaman reported.

According to the report, Turkey has given the Syrian regime an ultimatum, threatening that it will support any anti-Syria decision made by the UN if reforms are not implemented within days. (Roee Nahmias)
