Golan Heights fire contained

A firefighting crew has managed to contain the fire that broke out in the south of the Golan Heights, near the town of Had Ness. As per the estimation, the fire destroyed hundreds of thousands of meters of forest, brush and river vegetation. The fire department believes that the blaze was not caused by negligent hikers, but is looking into the possibility of arson. (Hagay Einav)
