Fischer: High inflation in Israel concerning

Governor of the Bank of Israel, Stanley Fischer said "Israel has a high inflation, and it's a problem. Housing prices are high and other products are expensive. We expected it to be lower.

 

"We reduced the interest rate and were concerned about deflation, but instead we have inflation. We need to take care of this," he said during the Caesarea Forum annual economic conference. (Tani Goldstein)
