France: Concerned over settlement expansion in east J'lem

French Foreign Ministry spokesman Bernard Valero said Monday that his country was "very concerned" over the expansion of settlements in east Jerusalem.
Valero called on Israel and the Palestinian Authority to resume negotiations and made it clear that: "Our position is constant: settlement building is illegal in the eyes of international law, in the West Bank as well as in east Jerusalem". (AFP)
