US rejects PM's plea to allow Pollard to attend father's funeral

The US denied Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's plea to allow Jonathan Pollard to attend his father's funeral, which is scheduled to take place on Monday evening.

Morris Pollard passed away on Saturday. Before his death, the family asked for Jonathan Pollard, who is imprisoned in the US for espionage, to be allowed to see his ill father, but the authorities did not grant them an official response. (Aviel Magenzi)
