Ilan Grapel, the American-Israeli national arrested in Egypt on alleged espionage charges was allowed a 50-minute phone conversation with his parents, who live in the United States, this according to a report in Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram.
The report mentioned that Grapel informed his parents that "he has not been harmed and was legally arrested after arrest warrant was filed against him by the attorney general." (Roee Nahmias)
