Lithuania to establish fund to support Nazi victims

The Lithuanian parliament adopted Tuesday a long awaited law on compensation for property confiscated from Jewish communities by the Nazis during World War II and held by the Soviet regime.

 

The law provides $128 million litas ($37 million) over ten years, from 2013 in a special fund managed by associations of Jewish Lithuania. (AFP)
