Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has appointed national security advisor Yaakov Amidror to reexamine the Goldberg report, which aims to settle the Bedouins' claims on Negev territory by granting them some 200,000 dunam of land and compensating them with billions of shekels for the remaining land.
Meanwhile, Ehud Prawer, who heads the team charged with implementing the report's recommendations, is to resign from his post. (Ronen Medzini and Attila Somfalvi)
